So how do you DO Recruitment? 🤷

And his very simple question to me was “So how do you “do” Recruitment?”

At first, I was stumped. I didn’t have a clue where to begin.

That’s like asking me how long a piece of string is. Or harder still, how Manchester United can secure a top four finish.

But, touched by the fact that somebody was reaching out to me for help, we got into it.

We started with the basics, we focused on some tweaks and corrections he could make in his current strategy, and we also went through a few tricks and tips.

Progress was made. I think. I hope.

But it was lovely to see somebody being proactive and reaching out, and using his network for his own development, instead of sitting silent and ultimately finding himself on a constant downward spiral to defeat.

I really do think this person will go very far.
